AFTER SCHOOL & BREAKFAST CLUB

Was opened in 2009 when we moved to our new building on the grounds of Belmont Primary School.

The Club caters for children aged 4 – 7 years who attend Belmont Primary School and presently provides care for up to 24 children per day in  After School Club and 16 in our Breakfast Club. We also run a Holiday Scheme which is open to (P1-P3) aged children.

The Club aims to provide high quality, affordable, reliable and accessible childcare to parents and carers, especially those who are working . We endeavour to meet all our children’s individual needs with a hardworking and highly qualified team of staff who continue to train within the field of childcare and playwork.

Belmont Playcare’s Afterschool & Breakfast Club provides a fun, exciting and safe environment with the staff ensuring that our children are inspired and motivated through structured and informal activities.

The Club is registered and regulated by HSCT (Health & Social Care Trust Early years Team)

Belmont Playcare’s Afterschool & Breakfast Club is constituted as a Limited Company and a Registered  Charity and the Management of the Club is overseen by Belmont Playcare's Board of Trustees.

This website aims to provide you with all the information you should need about our Clubs but if you have any questions or queries that are not answered on the site, please feel free to contact afterschool@belmontplaycare.org

The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club was set up by the playcare to offer wrap around care for Belmont primary school and enable busy working parents to drop their children off into a safe, caring and fun environment before school starts.

How it Works

The club is open to Belmont Primary School pupils only. You can drop off your child(ren) at 8 a.m. every weekday morning at Belmont Playcare. The children will be cared for until school starts. Included in the price is a healthy breakfast of cereal, toast, bagels, milk and water and fruit is available on request. Once they have finished eating we organise some quiet activity until walking the children onto the playground at 8.45am.

Application forms are available in the foyer.

How much does it cost?

The price is £4.00 per day.
